Sending and Editing Rating Requests

Rating Requests

How to send rating requests

For single documents

Select the document you would like to request a rating for and open the detail view. On the right hand side of the screen you can find this menu in the Action Panel.

Rating requests for a document

You can type in the names of the PATOffice users to which you would like to send a rating request for this document into the upper text field. You can also select multiple users at once. Then, add a due date, if you like, and click OK. This moves the rating requests to the list below and submits them to the users.
You have the option to edit or delete rating requests through the list as well.

For several documents

You can create rating requests for multiple documents at once by using actions and automations. Additionally, the action item Manage users enables you to change or delete the due date and the assigned user for several documents in one go. Please follow the instructions in PATOffice to use this feature.

Rating requests by status

You can find rating requests assigned to you on your Overview page. These are sorted by overdue, upcoming and with no due date. Click on the respective option to see a list of the corresponding documents.

Selecting a document from the list opens the detail view. A notice on the top of the action panel to the right shows that you have received a rating request for this document. You can now rate the document by submitting a rating and a comment.

Default due date

Defining a default due date for a workspace

The default due date set for your workspace is automatically assigned to new rating requests. This setting can be changed by admins in the workspace settings by selecting "Edit workspace". The due date for single rating requests can, nevertheless, be adapted on an individual basis, as needed.

Reminders for upcoming or overdue rating requests

Additionally, you have the option to set daily reminders for rating requests assigned to you in the notification settings.

You can opt to receive these reminders via e-mail, in-app notification, or both. Overdue rating requests are always included when you turn on reminder notifications. On top of that, you can decide to include additional rating requests that are upcoming, too. E.g. rating requests due within the next two weeks.
