What is the concept of PATOffice Workspaces?
PATOffice Workspaces - the concept
A Workspace is a place where you may efficiently collaborate with defined team members on a specific topic, e.g. a technological field, a new research project or various competitors.
We have set up this concept in order to be able to set up one or various space(s) for colleague to easyly and efficiently work on the same topics.
What makes workspaces different to automated monitorings?
We are suggesting to set up a workspace based on certain technologies, departments or special working groups.
All users added to a certain workspace will receive new patents based on the underlying monitoring profile, may add/read ratings and comment the patent accordingly.
Our USP: Users as well as patents / profiles may be part of various workspaces. They are not limited to one.
In PATOffice there are to two types of workspaces:
Monitorings
In Monitoring-Workspaces the whole team added to this particular workspace receives patents automatically according to the monitoring profile(s) added to this workspace:
Projects
Projects do not receive patents automatically. The users can add new patents from prior researches or searches. Users, who are part of the workspace, can review, rate and collaborate on the cases added to the project.
In your workspace settings you can add colleagues that work on a certain technology, add specific tag categories according to your requirement and activate monitoring profiles.
